Usually the safest runs i've had were the ones that i removed most of my 2-3 mana spells and kept most of the 1's, only higher cost card i had was the boomerang to root the enemies, i usually prioritized getting that card to -1 mana cost upgrade. It is one of the fastest paced ones i played. This game definitely threw me off the first few tries, despite the many roguelikes i've played.

Seemed great for on the go, and in a sense it's quite nostalgic to how one could play the MMBN series on the GBA/DS. (Oh, and i got this on the Switch, not here, in case you wonder. Still only have the starter character, so, yeah. Been making a beeline for the campfire every zone but i should probably prioritize the store and heal there if i got the money for a potential medkit or dare the pacts (they remind me of the Chaos deals in Hades, heh). Well, atleast i did happen to read about things such as how bosses can be killed (i guess you get an artefact?) or spared and they just help out in their own way (seems sparing is the easier option?), and how rabbits aparrantly apply +1 (doesn't seem worth it with luck also increasing difficulty), and how red map markers seem to lead to a "dark route" with enhanced loot/enemies/bosses (gonna avoid that for now).īut if anyone has a good/general strategy to follow then yeah, that'd be neat. I hope.)Ĭould figure out the hard way what mana cost is, money (which i rarely get to spend), damage, and other card information but it seems hard to get a grip on what the general strategy is regarding routes, what's worth doing and what isn't (distress beacons seem ill worth it when one often lacks the required tool and has to react at lightning speed), and what would be a good growth strategy regarding weapons/artefacts (and if/when one should discard rewards). (Well, atleast this game doesn't have the instant-ally-regen&revive viruses with 300+HP with unavoidable AOE that requires a double/triple kill with 300+ DMG program combos!. The enemies also feel sometimes like you're playing a MMBN game and ended up in the dark/:P I suppose part of a roguelike is to learn, but this game does not explain anything. Magic Eden then followed many of its competitors in making creator royalties optional for traders, and quickly reclaimed its 90% or higher Solana market share. Magic Eden has largely ruled the Solana space, although it briefly lost significant market share in September and October as upstart rivals rejected creator royalties, thus enabling cheaper transactions for traders. The NFT market surged in activity across 2021, generating $25 billion worth of trading volume by year’s end. The marketplace plans to integrate Polygon assets by the end of the year.Īn NFT is a blockchain token that represents ownership in a unique item, including digital goods like artwork, collectibles, profile pictures (PFPs), and interactive in-game items. Magic Eden said that several game developers have committed to minting their projects through its marketplace, including BORA, Intella X, nWay, Block Games, Boomland, Planet Mojo, and Taunt Battleworld. “We’re still in the beginning stages of mass adoption for blockchain games, and we’re excited to partner with Polygon to bring an exciting new wave of Web3 games to market.” “We expect high-quality Polygon games to come online in the next year, and are excited to bring those to market in a way that no marketplace has before,” Yin told Decrypt. Gaming is a major focus for Magic Eden, and Yin said the company is betting on Polygon driving that space.

Metaverse games like Decentraland and The Sandbox use Polygon for some NFT assets, plus an array of upcoming projects are building on the platform. On the other hand, Magic Eden sees Polygon as a major up-and-coming platform for NFT-powered video games. Polygon has quickly become the platform of choice for large-scale Web2 brands looking to take a step into the Web3 world. Meta recently tapped Polygon to allow Instagram creators to mint their own NFTs directly from the app, Starbucks is building a loyalty rewards program with Polygon, and Nike is building a digital apparel platform on it.

For example, online discussion community Reddit used Polygon for its collectible avatars, with users creating more than 3 million wallets to store them. The marketplace’s announcement comes following a string of major brand announcements around Polygon. Magic Eden picked Polygon for its next addition due to two primary factors, Magic Eden COO and co-founder Zhuoxun Yin told Decrypt : growing adoption by major Web2 brands, and the potential for large-scale Web3 gaming via the platform.
